Cloudy Depths
nobility lay in the past
like a bridge washed out by a
river flooded with discontent.
Women kept themselves barron
but not empty
Men negated by laws
abandoned family
we roamed from soul to soul
Searching for a reflection
to call our own
pieceing together the
soul that existed
before it shattered
laying like shards of a broken mirror
scatterd in the night
shadows
reaching for absolution
searching for a solution
In someone elses eyes.

Inside a tear
What is it, the tear itself
that pulls us
or the quivering lip
shame of the emotion of pain
looking to avoid others eyes
with down-turned eyes and hands
hidding the obviouse.
